How can Guitar Hero be used to stimulate creative writing?
How can Nintendogs help primary school children learn maths, ICT skills, animation, design and technology?
Can Endless Ocean save the world?
Is Little Big Planet the ultimate virtual learning environment?
These questions and more are tackled in this highly interactive session for practitioners and delegates interested in learning about real initiatives where games are being used to enrich, enhance and in some cases perhaps even transform the educational experience of learners.
Award winning exemplars from across the UK and further afield will be presented, supported with the latest research data followed by discussions and lively debate.
Professor Maja Pivec, University of Applied Sciences - FH Joanneum, Graz, Austria
In addition to the programmed speakers delegates will also be invited to present initiatives that they have been involved with and take questions so please be prepared if you'd like to participate and share your experiences.
